This Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. will mark a new chapter for the Catholic Church in Toronto as the Most Rev. Francis Leo will be installed as Archbishop of Toronto, following the retirement of Cardinal Thomas Collins.

In-person
For those wishing to attend in-person – due to capacity restrictions, this is an invitation-only event. Those with tickets will be seated between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Those without tickets may line up on Shuter St. (beside St. Michael’s Cathedral) beginning at 8:45 a.m. At approximately 9:30-9:45 a.m. any remaining seats will be filled by those waiting in the queue until the cathedral is filled to capacity. An outdoor viewing area will also be available in the Cathedral courtyard if required (Holy Communion will be distributed both inside and outside if applicable). As the outdoor area is not covered, please dress according to weather conditions as it will take time for ticketed guests to be ushered inside to their designated seating area.
